Did you know that not all states restrict ex-felons from voting?

And you are # of # non-Americans who support McCain?

Again, I can understand your fascination with American politics. But why are you so partisan?

no felon should be able to vote. also, anyone who has benefited from amnesty should be denied voting rights.

Don't you think that should be up to the states?
Ted Stevens endorsed Palin. Ollie North endorsed McCain as well as Daddy Yankee, Leonore Annenberg (sound familiar?), his father in law who is a convicted felon with supposed ties to organized crime, G. Gordon Liddy.........

Neither candidate has a clean list of supporters and who cares anyways? Make your own decision.
Exactly!!! Make your own choice on the issues at hand and how each candidate stands on them

Oh please get a grip....I hope Obama changes the law about convicted felons not being allowed to vote. It's one thing I've never understood about your country. There are different degrees of felonies and not all crimes are equal nor are the so called felons. Besides why take away such a fundimental right as being able to vote because you have committed a crime? You don't strip people of their citizenship when they go to prison do you?

I thought that once they'd done their time, they have their rights restored (such as voting).

Anywho, Diane Wilkerson, just indicted on bribery charges, is still running for re-election! Yeesh! Ok, innocent until proven guilty and all that, but indicted? And still running for public office?

I recall recently reading about felons and voting rights; I think, if I remember correctly that just a few states permit it.

I know of one person who was able to get a law degree after doing time for a non violent felony in California, took the state bar exam for Alaska, passed and has been practising for a number of years.
