Someday so many laws are going to be passed and made felonies we'll all be felons. Easiest way to take away our rights. It used to be a felony was a serious violent/dangerous crime, like murder, for instance, these days lots of petty things (petty in that they are not at all as serious as what a felony used to be) are felonies, and then bingo, you no longer can vote, own a gun, etc.. BTW, my home state, VT, only prevents those convicted of voter fraud from voting. My opinion is that if a person convicted of a crime is too dangerous to be allowed to vote, own a gun, etc., they should still be in jail not on the loose. If they aren't dangerous anymore they should regain their full rights. Unfortunately, judges are being far too lenient on violent criminals in many instances.
