I am so sick of all these OLD people following McCain like blind sheep. Many of them don't even know what he stands for, but are out for McCain because its the "thing to do". They need to look beyond their wanting to decide how gays and others live their lives gay issue and their contempt for the Constitution... Conservatives need to realize that we are not a theocracy and will not become one....

And think about issues like taxes, jobs, energy, and national security that will affect them. McCain's and the SHEEP on this forum constantly LIE

They LIE when they state that Obama's plan will raise taxes on people making as low as $42,000 a year.

Despite being debunked they constantly state that lie, just like the lie that Palin was against the bridge to nowhere.

The GOP just keep repeating such comments because conservatives hate regulations and they know that they don't want to change the current economic policies so they simply lie about Obama's plan.

McCain and these old fools that the rest of country is as stupid as them.

McCain and the GOP have crushed any and every attempt to get Detroit to make better cars and to make us more energy independent.

They are so in bed with oil that that their current plan simply involves more giveaways to big oil. "Drill baby Drill!" they scream.

But Americans know that one this will not begin to get us into a new direction for energy independence, two even if done, won't yield results for a decade and three won't change the price of oil more than a penny or two because the oil will be sold into the global market.

Most Americans also know that big oil is sitting on thousands upon thousands of leased land already.

Americans also know that Republicans decry "tax and spend" but what we learned is that the GOP simply likes to spend and spend, increasing the already monstrous national budget.

McCain, W and others in the GOP leadership have PROVEN to be tragically incompetent in foreign policy.

Obama has proven to be right as demonstrated by Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan and Iran.

McCain, W, Wolfie, Rummie, Cheney and the others who advocated our foreign policy this decade are so incompetent and these policies are so assinine that one has to wonder if they could be considered a terrorist sympathizers since their policies have strengthened our enemies.

Yet a certain percentage of our populatio and even more of the older sheep believe in these failed terra-ist supporting policies.

They made incredibly large mistakes that Obama and other grown ups will now have to clean up.

Sadly this matters will take time and we can only hope that we get more Obamas in the coming decades to continue a path of sound, intelligent policies.

All those democrats were wrong to vote to go to war? The only reason we are even thinking about an inexperienced half-term Senator for president is because the Bush policy of preemption has been 100% effective at keeping Americans safe from Radical Islamic terrorists who still want to kill us and our children. Had we had a second attack on Americans in the US, we likely would have hung those who opposed the Bush policies from street lamps. And people like Obama would be seen for being what they truly are, naive. So we'll elect Obama and sit down with terrorist to have a chat. We might even release the people being held in Guantanamo. We'll cut and run from Iraq like we have done in the past. But mark my words, when the governments of the Islamic world see the weakness in our resolve, they'll go right back to sponsoring terrorism. It's in their nature to do so. Then the eloquent speeches won't matter and we'll remember why GWB who had the lowest approval ratings of any president also had the highest approval rating (92%). This is the real reason we went to war.

Every action does not REQUIRE an opposite reaction. Just because someone posted a silly thread about young people supporting Obama, we didn't need the opposite. It is winding down and we need to wind down and if you support Obama and the polls hold then you need to conserve your energy for Super Wednesday.

I am not trying to be silly. I am both calling out a silly thread and explaining the fallacies of that argument....
