I'm sure no one has ever subjugated the registration requirement, right?

Again, any gun laws only apply to law abiding citizens. There shouldn't be any gun laws period.

I agree. No legally owned DD has been used in a crime I know of but criminals have no problem getting a hold of illegal ones. The laws don't affect criminals. They're only meant to make people criminals, with no good reason for doing so.

Comparing a .22 or 9mm with only the ability to kill an human perp to a rocket launcher?
I live near a small airport.

I could easily shoot the planes that fly in and out of here with a conventional firearm.

Anyway, since the right to have and bear arms is supposed to be protecting us from the Gov't, I think that since the Gov't has tanks, mortars, rockets, jet fighters, and so forth, that we should be able to have them too. I feel outgunned.

Plus, I am extremely scared of the Gov't. I sit in my den and think up plans for when they finally come knocking my door down with a SWAT team. I sure hope my pistol can stop the whole Gov't.

The Supreme Court with much more knowledge of the Constitution than yourself disagrees.

What Obama thinks is irrelevant in the face of the Constitution and the millions who would die to defend it, president or not.

Some of us take our rights seriously and resent anyone wanting an office who will infringe on those rights.
