I put this up earlier but got too much of a song's lyrics in it so the mod had to dump me. But, I'm back.

I'm not a huge Andrew Loyd Weber fan, and I can't stand Madonna, but there is a cottage industry in putting "slideshows" of photos of Sarah Palin to music from Evita.

See kiddies, this is the value of a well rounded (often referred to as a "Liberal Arts") education. You can actually look at a conniving b***h from history and draw parallels to a conniving b***h from today.

Check on You Tube, search by "evita" and "palin".

No, she isn't the next Eva Peron, and no amount of cheesy U-Tube videos will ever make her so.

The only thing that she might have in common with Eva Peron is the ambitiion. Evita was a very intelligent woman and Palin, well, you know.

Alright, I am putting my creative hat on and taking my political hat off.

If you were to do this, the song is "Rainbow High" sung by Madonna or someone else from Evita, such as Patti Lupone. Both can be found on Youtube.

Putting political hat back on....

However, certain lyrics in this song can also be used in reference to Obama. Such as: "I am their savior, that's what they call me.."

I was just looking at the lyrics of "Don't Cry for Me Argentina" to see if there was some sort of parody I could come up with, but the actual lyrics were just too damned close to being appropriate I could come up with anything better.

Rainbow High is better because it feeds directly into "Palin's clothes" and that whole $150,000 issue. "I am their product, they must adore me, so Christian Dior me, from my head to my toes, I need to be thrilling, I need to be rainbow high."

Give it a listen.

Evita Peron was a piece of work, but she was intelligent, shrewd, and an accomplished political animal. Without her, Juan Domingo Peron would have dwindled into obscurity. Fifty years after her death, a lot of people in Argentina still worship her. That will not be the case with Ms. Palin.

Sorry, but Ms Palin doesn't come remotely close to Evita.

Evita always amazed me. Was she good, was she bad?

She is still known to many as "Santa Evita".
