Are the smears and negativity no longer relevant. Obama has won and now his governing is about to begin. The discussion will unfold as history unfolds. But all of the smears about all of the candidates are now history.

We are all in the same boat, and for that reason I now support our president Obama. That does not mean I will not disagree with him, perhaps even vehemently. But it is in all of our best interests to stand united behind the man we - the USA - elected.

I agree. I don't plan on arguing about him until he starts making mistakes.

i am so grateful. it is the same hate rage and fury that fueled the war and lusted to escalate the war.
when it is reduced to its native nothingness thru love and true affection
then there will be peace. i will know it is over not when we leave bagdad but when i no
longer see CDF angry posts.

Are kidding? It's more relevant then ever and is of every president! That is how the game is played. Everything is he does will be under a microscope. You can't hide behind the race card, the love card, or a cumbia song, it is all his now. If he messes up, he will be judged, just ask BUSH. That being said, I do wish him well.

Bush: kept unemployment well below the historical average despite fighting two wars. Took over in the middle of a recession, dealt with 9-11, kept us safe for 7 years fending off dozens of attacks!
He did some bad things too, many of us did not like, but overall, in my opinion he was not fairlt judged. Obama, my friends will be no different. Fairness docterine or not. He will be judged harsh like any other President! And, righfully so!
