I have not ever been too patriotic because I do not consider myself an American first. I am, and will always be, an individual human being living under the influence of a government and not for a government.

If it is unpatriotic to fear and hate large oppressive government and its advocates than count me as the most unpatriotic of all. Obama will have my support when he eliminates the IRS, The Federal Reserve Bank, and all of the garbage left over from FDR imitation of Joseph Stalin and that nit-wit Johnson and restores the Ninth Ammendment that Lincoln erased. I will then be Obama's biggest supporter ever. Will I then be patriotic?

So? Dems have been ridiculing "patriotism" for the past 8 years. Why do you care now?

I have always been the first to put parties aside and salute my president (Dem or Repub) and give him my allegiance and support.

Not this time. Because I love my country.

I campaigned against Obama! When he gets sworn in...(it pains me to say) but he WILL be my President!

I would love to be wrong about everything I thought and believe about Obama! I really hope and pray that he is a great president!

Because it was the Republicans screeching about the need for patriotism for the last 8 years. So its okay for the Repu's to be hypocritical? Oh wait, nevermind, you were that to begin with so I suppose its expected.

I kinda feel the same way... I am a "Constitutional Conservative" and really did my research on Mr. Obama to have ammunition for my constant debates!

But 51% of the U.S. voted for him and like it or not, HE IS OUR president elect!

I am willing to give him the benefit of the doubt... I voted for Bush twice and I think that he was a terrible president! He let Ramos and Compean go to prison for doing their job, he spent more than any Democrat ever has, he couldn't find a veto pen to save his life, and he never secured the border after telling us to give up some of our freedoms to enact the patriot act! WE SURVIVED THIS... we will survive the Obama presidency. I'm just glad that we did not have to go through all of the re-counts and hanging chads thing again!

Now, if President Elect Obama starts messing around with the Constitution, the framework of America, and its founding ideals and principles... then this will become a different issue all together! I will protect this nation from enemies foreign and domestic!

Not so much. We just stand up for what we want, even if the "popular" crowd we don't agree with....we have values that media outlets and the color of your skin can't break.

Thanks for playing tho....
