By definition he is a political messiah.

Well then why do Republicans use that term in a derogatory way? In that case, had McCain won, he would have been a messiah too. His cause and his hope (based on his campaign) was that of "anti-Obama".

Can't we all just stop the double-speak?

It's pompous and arrogant. I'm trying to cut this guy a break, but if he keeps doing stuff like this it's going to be really hard for me.

However, history shows that the President of the United States DOES stand before the Seal of the President. Every President does this.

You really don't need this explanation. You know there's nothing hypocritical about it.
