I agree. Hannity and Rush are pretty intolerant and against diversity. Same for some of the righties on this forum.
I don't mind a different point of view. In fact I encourage it, but I agree that everything seems to be one-sided on Fox. Even Keith Olbermann, Chris Matthews and Rachel Maddow criticize Obama and other Democrats, but I've never once heard Hannity praise Obama for a single thing. I used to watch Fox to see what the conservatives were thinking, that is, until I realized people like Hannity do their best to attract the extreme right, hardcore wing-nuts.
As far as Limbaugh goes, I don't know why he's so popular. In fact, knowing how many people tune into him everyday frightens me. I mean, if you are a conservative, aren't you supposed to believe in strong family values? AFAIK he's been married at least 3 times and he's been addicted to drugs. He also owns a home that's larger than many hotels and valued at about $25 million (give or take a million..hey times are tough here in Florida!) In 2001 he signed a contract for $297 million and has other income from books, speaking engagements, etc. So that means he makes at least $50 million a year. Most of us won't see that much money in a lifetime. Then he gets on the air and tells working people who make $49,950,000 less to protest against the tax cuts for the rich. It's mind boggling that more people don't see right through him.
Guess it causes lots of flack for anyone to dare to disparage your God Limbaugh, hmmm???

I have to disagree. It is his policies that people hope fail. There is nothing wrong with that either. Most hoped Bush's policies failed and nobody had a problem with that. Some people were almost giddy when the country started having problems. It's those old Democrat sayings, you never want a serious crisis to go to waste, or never waste a good crisis.
Some of us that realize it is just politics 101 and don't turn it into partisan issues but rather try to get people on both sides to wake up and smell the coffee. Unfortunately most people are to partisan to understand and thus the mess we find ourselves in year after year after year. Pretty sad but unfortunately true.

They believe in silencing all opposing views. That is why they favor the "fairness doctrine" or something that will accomplish the same purpose, such as licensing and ownership regulations, which will probably be the method they use.
The truth of the matter is that most of the real "hate speech" comes from the left. You can read through this Forum and it's not hard to come to that conclusion. Or, turn on your radio or TV and listen to comments from some of the leftist politicians, like Dick Durban, Chuck Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, Harry Reid, and all the rest of those extreme leftist nut cases.
