There is every reason to believe that the Kremlin, ambitious to fulfill its declared international mission, recognizes its own mistakes, and seeks to improve the efficiency of the country.

This really sounds like Bush's plan before he leaves office. Our country now owns banks, insurance companies, possibly automobile companies. Granted the Democratic Congress is going along with him, but do not lay this at the feet of Obama--except in that he and McCain both voted for the bail out plan.
