As mentioned, she has some catching up to do....

I think she's far too intelligent to want to bother with those trash classes...they're for women who haven't much in the line of brains, wealthy women who are bored...

Michelle has been to plenty of "trash" classes alright. She knows how to be trash.

Michelle Obama looks like no one but Michelle Obama, a relatively young black woman in America who has high hopes for her man and her children. Period.

Now if she was to pull a Michael Jackson and attempt to rid herself of her blackness, don a wig with long flowing hair and dye it anything but jet black, and give about 30-40 years to accomplish her purported goal - actually YOUR goal of resembling Sigourney Weaver, well, sorry, but I would still see her as a black woman in america, and a very old one, at that.

Beware false idols...

Has nothing to do with "intelligence". It may be a requirement specifically for her, as she did not get the upbringing of other First Ladies, who know etiquette well and how to speak tactfully. As one poster mentioned, she is a "bull in a china closet". Nothing to be proud of....the "lady" is in the Big Leagues now and behooves her to have the smarts to realize she needs help, and lots of it.

You could give her lessons on "bitter".

Where do you get this? What's your basis? You die-hard right-wingers were so happy to have the "plain-spoken" Mayor of Wasilla actually on the ticket. Do you think Palin would need "etiquette" classes?

You all don't want to be called racists, and yet you insist on insulting an intelligent, attractive woman by referring to her looks and intelligence? Why should we not draw that conclusion?

I didn't vote for the McFailin ticket, but Palin would have needed etiquette and interview classes as well. This isn't about Palin though.....she lost.....she is history.

Michelle, however, is about to be first lady and she is going to be an embarrassment. Cheap, tacky, classless, no grace, no humility.....Michelle is simply "rough cut".

Right, which is why she is being sought out by magazines around the world. Face it, some of you wouldn't be able to recognize class or grace if it was standing right in front of you. So hateful...
