Well, I seem to recall that a Democrat got us into Vietnam and a Republican got us out...is my memory faulty?

Bobby Kennedy ran on the platform of pulling out of Vietnam but he was assassinated.

George McGovern did the same and was pretty far left and pushed much harder. He lost due to the Eagleton debacle.

So your point is moot.
My point is moot because of shoulda, coulda, woulda?

I'm more interested in "actually did".

It's faulty because you apparently have no ability to "understand context".

If you want someone like Nixon in power again though, it's all you dude. You've shown your ignorance pretty frequently and I'm not about to try to compensate for your education's failures.

lol, the poster suggested that only Republicans are likely to get us into bad military adventures...I merely pointed out that the last time we had a bad military adventure, it wasn't a Republican that got us into it.

Sorry if that doesn't fit with your worldview, but it is what it is, eh?

I guess that's why our troops are still being attacked in Iraq and Afghanistan. Waging war against the wrong enemy doesn't make us safer it makes us less safe in the long run because it cultivates hate. But you're too "tough" to realize that.

I'm soooooooooo glad that "Gotbooedguy" is gone..LOL!!!!!!!!!
