I do believe he wouldn't be singing "Bomb Iran", instead he'd be making political hay and likely be engaging in bombastic rhetoric towards Iran, accomplishing nothing but drowning out those voices of protest who stand bravely and defiantly.

What V.P. Palin would say is too terrifying to contemplate......

I think Mr. McCain would be wondering why the Iranian prople were protesting the Shah of Iran.

I believe the words would be something like:

"Sarah, get your butt out of the Oval Office, and quit calling NORAD on the hotline and yelling, "Defcon 4. Defcon 4!"

He wouold be doing waht Reagan did with the protest in Poland;give speeches of support and working behind the scenes to make sure the people there knew where we stood on their right to basc freedoms.Human rights talk during elections means nothing when its just rethoric.Remmeber the challenge to: tear down this wall. Kennedy saying "I am a Berliner".State and standby your beliefs. Nobody beleives a whimp once he accounces his intent to just talk to get elected.

,Getting older and much more senile than when he took office.

The translation of the phrase Kennedy used means "I am a doughnut". It's OK to be a doughnut, I guess. "Sweets For The Sweet" and all that. You can even put creme filling in your navel if you so desire.
