There is no line at the gate of PATIENCE.

It's what Obama urges. Patience. After all, he has the greatest task in the history of mankind. That is overcoming the atrocious policies of the worst administration in US history while being the most scrutinized man in history aside from a dead Michael Jackson.

I say he's doing a damn good job...and don't you forget it either.

most Americans knew things wouldnt change over night.

those that thought unicorns, rainbows, etc would apear because obama became president and are dissapointed now are stupid.

people saying its over because his approval rating has dropped, which is natural and not unusual, and making a big deal out of it are stupid.

most rational people know it takes time.

Now, here is a person who knows what he's talking about. Excellent points and spot on.

i just pay no attention to numbers unless there dreadful consistently across the board like with bush at the end. it looks like a wide variation with obama right now, no defined number, just a general area, anywhere from 50-60 percent.

I will try to be as diplomatic and calm as possible: It amazes me how critical and harsh "some people" are of President Obama. I would respect the criticisms more if they were legitimate, fair and substantiated in fact, not based on jealousy and racist attitudes and beliefs. The truth is: President Obama has made considerable strides in his SIX MONTHS in the Presidential seat: He INHERITED a sleuth of issues created by the previous administration-An economy in recession; a country at war, where thousands of lives have been lost; a time when internat'l relations were extremely lacking-w/many countries hating the U.S.; a country where a significant portion of tax-paying citizens don't have medical insurance; a constitutional nightmare where peoples' civil rights are being violated at an alarming rate; an unfortunate era when public education across the country is more and more sub-standard, etc. He doesn't have time to deal w/ the pressure and historical aspect of him being the First African American President. He's been forced to address all of these things, and then some, and because of his sheer brilliance, has done so effeciently and expediently. It's proven fact in this short time, President Obama has honored the promises he made on the campaign trail, while doing extensive damage control: He diligently orchestrated a plan to save the domestic automotive industry, which would've resulted in an add'l millions of jobs being lost; He has pulled the troops out of Iraq; He is assertively seeking health reform to provide health insurance for ALL Americans, despite his naysayers, critics & haters; Improved the working conditions of teachers by providing ample resources and development; Strived to represent the interest of all people by having a Cabinet and appointees that represent the "melting pot" in which we're so proud; Been accessible to the American people by utilizing every available media/communication circuit; engaged and enticed the interest of both young and old in poltics, the Constitution...(TB cont'd)

Legislative/judicial process; restored the American image around the world; helped to address environmental concerns; Placed focus on the family as to motivate and enourage men to be "good" or "better fathers; Implemented programs to help homeowners keep their homes/get their homes out of foreclosure and policies and procedures to lower credit card interest rates. Again, all of this, and then some, in SIX MONTHS, while still finding the time to be a great husband and father. To top all of that off, President Obama is man of impeccable character and great integrity. He's very wise, ethical, deliberate, thoughtful, eloquent and humble. Because of this, many people are very jealous and are still praying SOMEONE will miraculously uncover something negative, or inflammatory about him, instead of appreciating the master mind we have in the 44th President of the U.S. His attackers don't want to accept that any human being can be this flawless. One of the things I respect most about President Obama is how he handles his attackers/critics: Cooly and calmly, w/ stride and empathy, never sacrificing or jeopardizing his values, standards, or integrity. He's a force to be reckoned w/ and is second to none. I'm blessed and grateful to be alive @ such a historical and remarkable time.

That's the truth as you see it. He's done some decent stuff, I'll give you that. He's also done some pretty crappy things too.

It's pretty obvious your view is slanted waaaay waaaaaaayyy in favor of Obama and not balanced.

@ Maskedman: My view is based on the TRUTH, what's RIGHT and FACTUAL. Maybe if Obama spewed hate, had a history of being corrupt, had mistresses and babies all over the place, he would be accepted and celebrated by the mainstream portion of the MINORITY VIEW, since, REMEMBER: MAJORITY OF AMERICANS VIEW PRESIDENT OBAMA FAVORABLY. President Obama is a reflection of what more people yearn to be: Brilliant w/ a great character. The sad thing is majority of the people that attack him have common characteristics: uneducated, poor or working class, racist uninformed, Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Riley-2 KKK members/leaders that have "taken off their hoods" in an attempt to "lead" their people. Educated, sophisticated and intelligent people intellectually understand President Obama's unprecedented success @ such an early stage in his presidency. Further, it's very telling what level these critics are on by their characterization of President Obama as a "failure" after only 6 months as President. It's as if they don't cognitively understand or appreciate that President Obama has 3 1/2 years left in his first term! It's ignorance at its best! What's even funnier is "they" blame President Obama for all the ills the country is facing, as if he's been the sitting President the past eight years; as if he was the President that misled the American people by falsely accusing a world leader of having "weapons of mass destruction" and sent troops to Iraq, which resulted in many of them losing their lives-all in an effort to underhandedly and illegally gain control over Iraqi oil; as if he was the President that "shot down" efforts to save the domestic automotive industry; as if he was the President that didn't even attempt to reform healthcare so all Americans could have medical benefits; as if he was the President SELECTED in violation of voting laws; as if he was the President during the 9/11 attacks. Must I go on? We must give credit where credit is due. No one can honestly deny President Obama's accomplishments. They're recorded!

Are you really based in truth? Be honest with yourself and read this. Yea Obama is doing so great.

Director’s Blog » Blog Archive » The Long-Term Budget Outlook

Still think he is doing great?

What about this?

http://www.nasdaq.com/aspx/stock-market-news-story.aspx?storyid=200907151403dowjonesdjonline000 758&title=centrist-dem-leaderhas-committee-votes-to-block-health-bill (broken link)

Back here in reality most people are waking up to realize he is not helping at all. Remember how the stimulus was suppose to keep unemployment under 8.5%? Where is it know? It had to be passed so quickly yet how much has been spent?

To conclude your post is not based in fact at all. Can you please point out where Bill O'Reilly has been racist? How long did it take to deem Carter as a failure? Where are you "facts" to support that only uneducated and poor people are the ones not to apporve of Obama? Furthermore do you realise who the poor of the counrty vote for? Here is a hint! (scroll down to where it breaks it down by income)

CNN.com Election 2004

So where are your facts?
