Separation of Church and State would take all marriages out of the religious right. I was married long before many of you were born by a judge in his home and it was legal. My kids were married in Paris, France and it is legal. Marrying in the church is also legal but mandatory.

In the last 20 years the gay community has come out of the closet as they have hidden away for too long. Why should they be denied a marriage license? Apparently it is the GOP who wants them out of the party and off the streets.

I remember when people changed those of us who were born left-handed to force us to be like everyone else. I went through hell in grammar school. How much government do we need to tell who can vote?

We have immigration laws that have been ignored for many years. Without them, we are forced into Amnesty provisions as there are jobs that our teenagers used to have in the summers in California and they will not work the agricultural fields at this time. We do not have the enforcement on these laws and we will never have a police state to stop abortions or death with dignity.

I did not believe I would see the day when the GOP demanded social laws on the people. This was only after Bush 43 bought the Christian vote during his campaign to give them Federal Faith Based Grants. Do we need these social prohibitions? Do we not know abortions are wrong?

Must we follow the threats of Orwell and build a government that will tell us what we must not do?

In my world, the parents and teachers teach right from wrong and that generation passes it on. Only if we fail, do we need a police state.

Sandy

Its most when you cound the margin of error, and:

slightly more than the 43 percent who favor deporting as many as possible
