Throw in all the others who voted for Obama because they wanted to take part in the election of the first black president, not considering Bubba Clinton's assertion, and voted for him because of his race. I see mounting numbers of people who voted for him because of his skin color and his talk about change, that didn't really point out what all that change would be.

I like how the liberals try to market the "conservatives wouldn't vote for hussein obama because he is black"

Personally I didn't vote for hussein obama because he's a liar, a smooth talking used car salesman, a narcissist, a radical abortion lover and has a history of associations with radicals, terrorist and those that hate America. I also believed because of these associations he is NOT to be trusted to have any loyalty to this country. As far as I am concerned he has confirmed my suspicions.

I am in 100% agreement with all of your post. The man has confirmed all of our suspicions and gone beyond on many things.

In another thread it was either odanny or ovacotto (can't remember which one it was) that tried to pull that crap and asked how many black republican governors there were. I came back with the fact that we, the supposed white racist conservatives nominated black men to be the governors of both Pennsylvania and Ohio and it was we, the supposed white racist conservatives that voted for them; however it was the white and black liberals, y'know the tolerant enlightened ones that voted against them. I then went on to remind them that we, the supposed white racist conservatives elected the first Indian-American governor and first Vietnamese American congressman (ironically both from the supposed racist south). That thread was about a month ago and I'm still waiting for his response.

LOL, What a delusional bunch of RW idiots. From a practical matter, political parties in the United States always renominate a sitting president. From a political standpoint, Obama wiped the floor with McCain-Palin. The Republicans have a weak bench and a divided party. They are very unlikely to have a significant challenger in 2012.

Feels like 1977.

And 1980 is coming.

Keep dreaming. More like 1935.

You'd better hope not. Roosevelt didn't have a clue how to fix the economy.

If Obama is as ineffective in handling the economy as Roosevelt was, he'll lose in 2012.

Americans don't have the patience that they did in the 1930s.

They proved that in 1980 when they bounced Jimmy Peanut after 1 lousy term.

Hillary will eat him for lunch in the primaries if he doesn't perform, and you know it (just like Ted Kennedy beat Carter bloody and ensured his defeat).

You're underinformed, as usual, Duke. Obama actually had a net gain of votes due to his race.

But don't let that deter you from making more completely idiotic statements. You just keep parroting Janeane Garofalo and every single thing you see on Huffington Post, and we'll just keep laughing at you for your ignorance and lack of critical thinking skills. You get to feel like an important person, and we get some great entertainment - it's a win/win!

That's the vibe I've always had from him, too. Kind of the "say anything necessary to make the sale" aura.

To add what your sources say, either 35 or 37 of those people managed to be elected in 2008 in districts that John McCain carried that year. It appears that their economic ideas may have been pretty important to their elections. Also, it is too near to the next election for them to take a chance on this health care program.

Did you see this morning that the CBO says that this plan will provide a whole $2 billion savings over the next 10 years. That sounded like quite a bit of money a year ago but it isn't even peanuts today. In answer to that report by CBO Peter Orszag came up with the idea that they never did intend to save money in the short run, but only wanted to slow things down. Those people in the White House are the best spinners in the nation, I think.
TY In my honest opinion Roy...I think the Blue Dogs ARE standing up for what the old GOP once stood for and want to be again. They are not ruled by the "police the world" neoCON types...they are not ruled by the Evangelical wacko squad, but yet are for family values in the real sense....they DO seem to take a LOT of cash from the healthcare industry tho'.

As I have said in many, many other posts,I have supported the Blue Dogs for a long time and when I can and although they DO have things about their platform that I'm not 100% in agreement with,I think they are a choice well above the "lesser of two evils" crowd.

I wish there were enough candidates in this state to take this nazi like place over and do away with the idiots running the show here..
