Okay, let's try this:

Would you vote for a conservative Democrat over a liberal Republican for President if you say you are are conservative? Would you vote for a liberal Republican over a conservative Democrat if you say you are a liberal?


If I keep telling people, I'm a conservative first, I'd have to go with the conservative Democrat but this would only be for the Presidency. It would not be for Congress because there is too much pressure in Congress for a newbie to toe the party line no matter what he/she believes in.

I agree with you. There have been a few blue dogs I have wanted to vote for but I would not trust them to fall prey to something like a Reid or Palosi

there platforn was conservative not liberal and are related to blue dogs the whole southern thing may not apply but the ideas are still there
