In your dreams. Obama's approval rating is taking a hit because the majority of Americans want universal healthcare, and from all indications, Obama won't deliver. His lower approval rating is a manifestation of the frustration that many Americans are feeling.

What strikes me as very strange is that in regards to universal healthcare, Obama is giving conservatives what they want, so why are so many conservatives on this thread so upset with Obama?

Wrong, the majority do not want universal healthcare.

They want healthcare reform but that does not include the government being involved in our healthcare other then reforming the cost etc.

Obama cannot deliver because the PEOPLE are speaking out against it.

Too many of our lefty friends just won't pay any attention to what polls say when it comes to how many do not want single payer health insurance. They want it and know some like them that do and accept that as most.

Of course the government really isn't involved other than offering another option for those who are uninsured or unhappy about their plans, but the righties completely lied about the plan, the death panel scare tactics amd all that utter nonsense.

First you need to fix why so many are uninsured.
Second if you are unhappy, change it.

The righties did not lie about the plan, are you telling me that the message Obama sent out was not even good enough to push it through? If so, then the messenger ( Obama ) is not doing very well then.

Stop blaming the righties for this failing, blame your party for trying to pull one over on us.

We do not want socialized welfare healthcare in America, simple as that.

One issue did not kill this at all, the entire bill was a total scam from the start and you know it.

Sorry to burst your bubble but the death panels do exist in the original crap bill, you just cannot see it the way many who have read that section see it.

Obama- take a pill instead of spending money on Granny. If that is not a death panel then what the hell is? Granny is not worth spending all that money on according to Obama.

There are only 4 sources listed above compared to 5 for Obama, so it can't really be compared.

If Obama reaches a 90% approval rating like Bush did, get back to me.

Ahh because 4 polls were released during the same time period in 01 and 5 were release in the same time period in 09 you can't make the same comparison

Now if Obama reaches the mid twenties like Bush did well then we have a story....

Not even sure if your post was sarcastic or not, but especially as far as the 90% approval goes. I sincerely hope Obama, nor any other President no matter what the political affiliation or ideology ever has a 90% approval ever again.

The death panel claim is just an outright lie. Nothing in this bill has anything to do with giving granny a pill over spending money on her. That is just completely and utterly false.

We do need to do more to get more people covered, however the private insurance companies have proven they don't want any part of it. As far as if you don't like your insurance just chancge it, it is not even remotely that simple, especially with people whose jobs have cutback on the coverage and/ or are lower or even middle income, have previous medical conditions, etc. Its a complete and utter disgrace that we are the only first world nation where everyone does not have access to healthcare.

And yet, he still manages to beat his GOP opponents by close to double-digits in hypothetical presidential match-ups. LOL!
