And, it's a "she" running for Lt Governor: Jessica Sferrazza.

"According to the article, the charges stemmed from a dispute with a 17-year-old former friend to whom Sferrazza was accused of making as many as 20 threatening and obscene phone calls in a day. The Sparks newspaper also reported Sferrazza harassed the girl at work and sent her threatening mail. 'The case culminated in a hair-pulling fist fight in a McDonald's parking lot on June 9, 1992,' the article reported."

She plea bargained her way to have the battery charges dropped and anger management classes ordered.

I am sure no matter who the candidate is, if you look deep enough you will find something to try and smear them with. We need to make sure that if whatever case is referenced we look to see how the person grew from that mistake and not treat an isolated case as if it is the person's normal way of reacting.

Had she not plea bargained it away, it would be part of her resume. Should character/temperment not be a political issue? If you don't look at a person's past, how do you know they are fit for the job?
