I could very well see Alan Grayson giving President Obama a serious run for his money come 2012.

I will be keeping a close eye on Grayson particularly as we get closer to 2012.

If Obama is not careful and play his cards right he could be on the other side of an upset, next time around.

Check him out here. And here.

Senator Feingold could be another possible contender. I believe he would be no pushover for Obama.

But I think Grayson would be a greater rival due to his charisma and outspokenness.

It would be great to finally have progressive candidates that have a viable shot at the Presidency.

What?

Grayson is a buffoon, an idiot and likely will lose his seat come November.

The guy is a far-left wing nutcase.

I love Grayson's chutzpa! I know many people that would want a guy like him to be in the White House. Many of the issues that cannot get settled in Congress because of the Republican's obstructionist politics, would have Grayson at his most formidable.

I really doubt if Obama isn't renomiated the democrats will nominate another from the left of the party. hey will again be looking for a Bill Clinton ;so as not to be in the wilderness for decades to come again.I would bet both parties are lookig for governors that have a good record in exective posiotns to run again. Clinton and reagan were their most successful candidates in many moons.

Personally, I think Obama will be a one-term President by choice. I believe he's disappointed with himself; I believe he's starting to understand that Washington doesn't change by Executive Order of Personality; and I believe that he's bored with the job already. Unless for some odd reason he gets a bipartisan tingle up his leg and decides to work with Republicans, sincerely instead of political theater, I think he's out the door in 2012.

Just a hunch.

If right wingers are spooked by centrists/ left-of-center types like the Clintons and Obama, then yes I can see how someone who is even more progressive would be even more terrifying. I wonder if he's also an atheist.

A Grayson run would be a hoot to watch.

C'mon Dems, show your progressive credentials and put him up there.

Please!!!

Grayson has a very impressive education and career history. Many people ar not used to his brand of speaking what is on his mind and not pulling any punches. That is exactly what we need. Someone who can tell the obstructionists and lobbyist puppets where to go with their self serving agenda. I'd love to see him in a debate against any one the far right can come up with. I believe Obama came to Washington with the right ideals and truly wishes to help the average hard working American, but I am disappointed in his not having the will to tell the party of "No" and the Blue Dog Democrats to shove it where the sun doesn't shine! Bipartisanship does not work when you are up against and dealing with the hunger for power and greed for money that exists in Washington and that has poisoned our representation. I'd love to see Grayson run.

Who the heck is Alan Grayson? He's not posing a serious challenge because nobody knows him.
