Most Presidents have given their seal of approval to the Military Brass but NOT OBAMA...It seems a number of Americans have forgotten what Democratic Leaders are like...Obama is the worst we have seen...

After reading the article, I believe the President is thinking of potential US casulaties in capture attempts and is more likely to issue the order to eliminate to save our troops. I would applaude him in that. I think that we may lose some information by killing before we interrogate but by eliminating the threat will also send a message to those who worked under the target that if they take over, we will not hesitate to end their lives also.

If we're going to give them lawyers so they don't have to talk, why bother taking prisoners?

A lot of times some guys don't know enough to be put through the process and capture and interrogation and the CIA and military personnell know this. Couple that with the fact capture can become an extremely dangerous endeavor.

Just goes to show that Obama is anything but weak on terrorism. Good job military and our president for making tough but necessary choices.

The OP would rather see unrelenting bombings, strafing runs and recons by fire.

The U.S. Navy SEALS "owned" the Mekong Delta in the early part of the VN war. Any idea of how and why?
