In this case, which is ObaCare and THE ISSUE defining the public outrage it was partisan as the votes were cast along party lines. Since ObaCare is the defining issue it is valid to lambast the party who brought it to fruition. You see...in this case voting against the candidate you oppose due to their position is the same as voting against that party.

In general and on Election Day, party affiliation ONLY will not be my standard as I already have my list of local RINOs and others to wade through too. I'm even considering voting FOR one member of the opposing party who is also running on the Indie line. Ha! Only one though.

So we give repubs back the house and the senate? I guess you forgot what happened the last time they had control of both.

Alphabetical by Senator Name
Names in red are up for re-election

Bennet (D-CO)
Boxer (D-CA)
Feingold (D-WI)
Gillibrand (D-NY)
Inouye (D-HI)
Leahy (D-VT)
Lincoln (D-AR)
Mikulski (D-MD)
Murray (D-WA)
Reid (D-NV)
Schumer (D-NY)
Specter (D-PA)
Wyden (D-OR)

HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES (435 seats and 5 (of the 6) non-voting members)

ALL SEATS UP FOR RE-ELECTION

Please mail this to your individual mailing lists as a reminder.

A good number of these people will lose and many more can lose. Reid, Specter and Lincoln are toast. The GOP will win the North Dakota seat. The IL seat is possible, though the GOP candidate is not that great. I think Benet will lose, while Boxer will have a tough election. Gillibrand and Feingold are less likely to lose, but not complete shoe-ins for victory. If Dino Rossi enters the race, Patty Murray may lose.

Very interesting how you see it. I would love to see Boxer be retired, I just hope this happens but know how Ca politics work..It is certainly possible, she should never have been elected in the first place. Lincoln, will do good to win the primary..I think AR is about to go Republican on everything. Reid is out and probably Specter as well, serves him right....

I guess you know about polls the rest of us do not know about: If Reid is ahead that happened in the last day or so, where did you get this? Lincoln, she is fighting to even win the nomination. Even the libs here say she will go down.... She is having trouble in the polls with the Republican vote, right now, being split 7 ways. Just wait til the winner is announced in about 6 weeks. As for Specter, I don't know for sure, oh and I have to wonder how much you really know when not all those mentioned are gentlemen..
