Rand Paul apparently gets the Bunning endorsement. Rarely does an exiting Senator endorse a candidate vying for their position, but there you go.

The Associated Press: Bunning endorses outsider Paul in US Senate race

An endorsement from Bunning who is viewed as being senile hurts more than it helps.....

Like Bunning or not, he still carries clout in Kentucky.

Bunning - "In the United States Senate, Kentuckians need a strong, principled conservative to stand up to the liberals and establishment politicians that run Washington. Kentucky needs a conservative who will say no to bailouts, stop the government takeover of our economy, end wasteful spending, and bring down our national debt. And Kentucky’s families need a conservative who believes in traditional values and the rights of the unborn. In 2010, there is only one such conservative running for the United States Senate — Dr. Rand Paul."

Graysons camp recently did a poll and proclaimed they were winning. For the past 6 months or so Paul has been ahead by ~15 percent. Another poll which came out a few days after Graysons, showed Paul still ahead by 15 percent. Grayson may be a fellow repub but he is sleazy.

McConnell is staying fairly quiet on this race. He's no dummy. Grayson is his type but McConnell knows Grayson is going down and doesn't want to be part of a losing campaign.
