Yeah, because God knows that Liberal Democrats certainly don't fly the American Flag on their side of the isle. You guys are doing good to have a flag lapel pin in a junk drawer somewhere.
I'm quite sure you have a flag lapel pin, made in China. Sometime you'll have to explain to me how that shows your patriotism.
This should get interesting, Rubio has a lot of support from independents "Tea Party", the republican establishment have lined up behind him and........and gets more support from the hispanic, latino vote than Crist.
The hell with the tea party. I am independent and I am not supporting Rubio just because the tea party says he is hip.
People don't agree with his stance on the issues, he is going to lose the GOP primary (you, know, where things like this are decided) and then he will switch to an Indie because he can't win as a conservative.
He is the perfect RINO that the Left claims the Right should put on the ballot - no thanks, just like Specter, he has no principles or integrity.
Agree. He's trailing in the polls, sees it's a no-win situation, and bails. Just another Specter.
It's really NO loss to the GOP. And yes, there's some satisfaction in seeing these career politicians whose values are clearly for sale go out with an embarrassing sputter (Specter, Crist, Stupak).
I wonder where Crist thinks his cash will come from. He is not likely to get ANY support from his once GOP supporters. The democrats clearly will not be supporting him and if he thinks the teachers union will get behind him over a democrat, he's got another thing coming.

Exactly. Party loyalty and ideology clearly didn't mean much to him.
I just can't see a win for him in this case. Does he really think those that say they support him now on the republican/leaning republican side, will risk staying with him in the generally while putting the seat within a democrats grasp?

The last Quinnipiac poll actually had Meek closer in a two way match up against Rubi (42-38) than in a three way. Crist 32, Rubio 30, Meek 24. Granted, part of that may have had to do with the fact Meek has the lowest name recognition.
Great. Next steps for Crist: Get a divorce and finally come out of the closet. He'll be considered a hero.
