I will vote for Crist before I EVER vote for Rubio (blech). Because I like Crist's moderate Republican style, I might even vote for him over the Democrat, because a win for Crist would be a huge blow to both the Miami Cuban Republican lobby, and the right wing establishment of the Republican Party.

Crist has been a decent governor. Rubio was an ineffective member of the legislature.

The Republican Party has been creeping further and further to the right. They're almost at a point where you must adhere to the conservative line of thinking 100% or else you'll be labeled a Republican In Name Only and kicked to the curb. Senator Bob Bennett is a good example of this, as well as Lindsey Graham and Charlie Crist.
