Perhaps the strip clubs in Tampa should feature male strippers during at least one night of the convention. The male religious conservative attendees need entertainment too.
Being an oldtime California Republican, you might remember Herb Caen's column about the 1964 GOP convention in San Francisco in which he interviewed some of SF's prostitutes. They all agreed they preferred Republican conventions to Democratic conventions because Republicans had more money to spend.
I read that column in an anthology of writings about California. I was obviously too young to have read that back in the day.

All I can remember about that convention, by the way, was Reagans speech and hubby saying that would be our next governor while I maintained I would never vote for a Movie Star...My how we eat our words from time to time. Oh, I will add one thing, we watched all this on our 12 or 15 inch black and white...
good point!!! I guess the poster doesn't know much about Fl geography. Tampa is indeed miles from So Beach. So Beach is Miami or in the Miami area, Tampa is on the gulf coast and north of Miami by quite a bit.
Tampa strip clubs, in an effort to lure out of town visitors, have been simulcasting their shenanigans on the internet.

oh for heavens sake, what a useless post!!! I think you are reaching a little far on this one...any post that is revisited after a little over 2 years is pretty much a dead post in my opinion.
