Yep...still need to go with the Democrat here. Not even close.
It's Conn, if you think whoever gets voted in won't be a corporate shill you're crazy.

Also I'm gonna have a good laugh if Linda McMahon actually wins.

Might as well bring in Democratic Representative Undertaker to go against her in a cage match at this stage.

So you would rather have a proven liar representing you than someone who you assume (not having any proof) would vote in a manner that you don't like.

Typical of the democrats and the current democrat administration. Lie and cheat to get what you want and ignore any voice you don't agree with.

Contrary to most Red States, North Easterners are sophisticated to know voting has to do with issues not the personal failings of who's in office.

Why would they vote for someone who will vote against their own self interest when the other guy who lied will likely vote in their own self interest?
To use your own logic(?) perhaps he is lying about voting in your self interest. That being the case, you are scre*ed.

Yup. Even HufPo is bashing him (though they made sure to throw two Republicans in the story to even things out).

John R. Bohrer: Will Blumenthal Join Paterson, Vitter and Ensign in Profiles in Shamelessness?

Give him a day or two and he's a goner.

Well, not surprising I guess considering this little detail from the OP's link:

"...and ultimately take a job in the Nixon White House."

Idiot.

Uh-oh. Looks like he lied about serving.

This is the man that WAS a veritable shoe-in for Dodd's seat.

Why would this guy make comments, statements that leave the impression he served in Vietnam?

What a freaking moron. It's an insult to everyone who served in Vietnam.

Well, I guess I've been on these boards too long. Shot off mouth before looking into the story. This don't appear to be as clear cut as they seem.

Even after hearing the words from his own mouth, in numerous comments and statements in the last few years....you will deny the truth?

Blumenthal told the Times he had misspoken at the 2008 event in Norfolk in which he said he served in Vietnam.
How does one "misspeak" about serving?

And this isn't the only comments he has made.
