Just remember, don't let SpongeBob drive! Look at all the grief he has caused poor Mrs. Puff.

Walker, Texas Ranger
The Genie from Aladdin (or just give Robin Williams magical powers and an obligation to grant me 3 wishes so hilarity can ensue)
I definitely agree with making Jack Bauer a real person too

I like it, also I'm TIVOing that show (Early Edition) right now, but can a newspaper count as a character? It seems more like a device to allow for the action, like maybe the Starship Enterprise on Star Trek. Possibly the cat counts as a character and the cat seems to be a packaged deal with the paper.

I'm pretty sure the guy that lives across the street from me is a reincarnation of Michael Scott, from the Office.

The Mountie, is it Fraser, from "Due South" could be neat. (I remember the dog is named Diefenbaker, like the Prime Minister) He seemed generally quite helpful and honorable.
