I'm a fan of comic books (not a huge, geeky fan, just a fan...) and just for kicks and because my class hasn't started yet, I've decided to list the 10 greatest comic book super heroes and supervillians of all time.

Here's a few more heroes who can hold their own against your big 10:

-Thor
-Sub-mariner
-Daredevil

Of course, if you're a comics fan, then you know that EVERY hero is the greatest when a particular book or storyline spotlights them. My list shows a few who I think may deserve top ten status.

I don't think I've heard of the Sub-mariner.

He's important. Also known by his real name: Namor.
He's the king of Atlantis or something. God-like powers in the Marvel universe. On par with Hercules and Thor.
Was on The Avengers team for a long time.

As I understand it, the Sub-mariner has many superhuman powers...maybe some have not been explicitly covered in the comics.

Yeah, but like Spider-man, Batman has too many great, memorable villians. So I just put the top two of his enemies.
