I am sure that as long as the "spaghetti westerns" play, Van Cleef will always be remembered. I guess the "forgotten" actors and actresses I'm asking about are those who were quite active in motion pictures and television at one time but seem to have disappeared from public view and popular culture. They only seem to serve now as answers to trivia questions.
This topic is highly subjective, because some people remember (or have heard of) actors and actresses who are unknown to others. This thread doesn't seem to be going the way I want, so I'm requesting its closure. Sorry!
Funny, when I saw the title of this thread Lee was one of the first ones I thought of. Bernie Casey is another. Great actor, I'm surprised he still didn't get more roles later in his career.
