The first movie I watched when I setup my movie theater room was Lords of the Ring; The Fellowship of the Ring. It was awesome. There is nothing like it. Watching a movie on a projector with 7 speakers and 4 subwoofers blasting away. I was smiling from ear to ear.

Interesting question....

It'd be a battle scene for me.

'Black Hawk Down'
Beginning of 'Saving Private Ryan'
Top Gun
The attack sequence from 'Pearl Harbor' - still think the bomb drop POV was one of the coolest shots.
Battle scene in beginning of 'Episode III'

These are some of the movies I crank up whenever I do an A/V upgrade.

.... Depends on the mood, really. So many great ones, in my estimation...

........* Contact
........* Cloud Atlas
........* Citizen Kane

.... Yeah, they all begin with "C". Never thought of that until now.
........'Course, "2001" followed with "2010" would be excellent too. Wish someone would make "2063" one day. Maybe Cameron?

At this time I'd be in the mood for something like "Hidalgo."
