I am not sure if anyone heard about this but music video director Joseph Kahn has released a controversial fan short film of Power Rangers on different video websites called Power/Rangers featuring Katie Sackoff and James Van Der Beek. It went to a lot of fan fare but not all the feedback was good. The former Green, White, Red Zeo, Red Turbo and Black Dino Thunder Ranger, Jason David Frank is against it. The owners of the Power Rangers (Saban Entertainment) has actually sued Kahn and asked for it to be pulled down from various video websites. What is everyone's thoughts on it?
I liked the film (despite the Megazord transformers fight) but I understand Saban's objections to it because they own the rights to the film.
The source show was after my time but a short film showing the grown-up child soldiers was a nice way to spend a little time. I heard about it on the /Filmcast and it looks as if the legal objections have been settled.
