I will say the Bruce Willis/ Samuel Jackson movies were getting a little tiring........like those two will not say "NO" to a role! They take anything. Sure they had some hits but the bad movies were like reruns of the same bad plot.
Willis:
Hostage
Last Boy Scout
Jackal
Tears in the Sun
Jackson:
Shaft
Great White Hype
XXX
Snakes on a Plane
Black Snake Moan
Of the movies mentioned after I first posted, I hated La La Land, Crash, Slumdog Millionaire American Beauty, and Little Miss Sunshine, too! Also Blair Witch Project and Love Story. (Even though I was 17 or 18 when I saw Love Story, I thought the entire movie was just stupid.)

Say it ain't so! American Beauty is one of my favorites. I quote from it all the time.
I can see why people dislike Blair Witch, though I personally like it due to the amateur style that was done well enough to scare the crap out of me. I saw it in the theater when it came out. A lot of people hated it.
I don't actually despise most of the following (except for "Beau is Afraid"), just "not my thing":
"Beau is Afraid" (this I actually did despise)
"Everything Everywhere All at Once" (a few parts were good, but fast-forwarded through most of it)
"Babylon"
"Around the World in 80 Days" (the new one)
"Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates"
"Miss Willoughby and the haunted bookshop"
"Nope" by Jordan Peele (but I enjoyed his "Get Out")
"LA LA Land" (didn't hate it, just felt it was over-rated)
"Moonlight"
"Blair Witch"
"What Happens Later" (Meg Ryan & David Duchovny)
the most recent "Hunger Games" = The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes" (stopped it within first half hour and returned it)
Love, Actually. I knew so many people who loved it and I was, at best, bored by it.
I thought part of the point of that movie was to show that being Southern and checking some of the "stereotype" boxes is not anything to be ashamed of... I kind of thought that was why so many stereotypes were there.
I'm a Californian who has lived in the South for over 15 years, and I liked Sweet Home Alabama....perhaps for some of the same reasons I liked Elizabethtown.
And, IMO, Candice Bergen was hilarious in Sweet Home Alabama

Truth! And I almost fainted over the listing of La La Land...it's on my ultimate playlist!
Hotel Hell-- Went with my mother for a bit of entertainment on a cold, wet rainy afternoon. Walked out in the first part, along with six other disgusted viewers:
Rocky (or was it Rocky V) A sad ending to an otherwise upbeat saga.
