hello everyone, first time on forums and im hoping someone can help me. i"m moving soon from texas to germany, i dont have that much stuff to take with me but some of it is quit heavy like all my books, about 50-60lbs, i dont want to pay 300 for the postal service to mail it, does anyone know any international shipping companies that would do this for cheap? have two other boxes going as well.

Talk to a shipping company like for instance DHL.
Tell them what you have and where it needs to go.
Ask about the possibility to have it loaded on a pallet that sits until the pallet is full, and then it goes.
If you insist on having it shipped faster, that means more money out of your pocket.

Just an FYI: If you have US friends who work in Germany, you can use the USPS and ship to their APO address. The no weight limit boxes are around $15.

Definitively!
Thanks chiel ! I forgot about that, but as mentioned, it MUST be an APO address.

@ drbeartrap
As for the weight of the boxes.
Try to put in smaller boxes that weigh a bit less ???
a 50 - 60 lbs box is really hard to move ...
Really, have YOU tried to move 50-60 lbs ?

Be nice to the guy who has to pick up those heavy boxes !!!
