If you refer to atmosphere, is true, is like a big city of dead people, in fact worse. But the architecture is very nice and diverse, the food and air good and there are lots of things to see and do.

I guess I was surprised by two things.

1) Some very wide, wide roads in Bucharest. I always thought he 'Paris of...' label implied that roads might be more narrower and community-focused. The roads look rather wide, car-centric, and impersonal though.

2) Looks cold there! I guess I half expected that, but...nontheless.

Overall, it still looks better than I imagined though....I never really bought into the 'Paris Lite' types of talk, as that seems to be attached to almost everywhere. But Bucharest looks fine just as it is. Some good buildings.
