France? (people, work, UK, grandparent)

Hello French people,

I'm really just trying to get in touch with some French people so that I might be able to practice my French, learn about French culture, and maybe make some French friends. I'm a bored college graduate from Alabama, and I'm looking for a change of pace. I want to work and / or study abroad.

Sometimes I think we could make some language threads, to write in those languages and practice it while we learn about the culture, mods I hope you like the idea.

Hello, I am British but of French origins.

I am afraid I cannot speak full French unfortunately even if my grandparents who were fully French speakers.

My parents kind of give up the language just several years before me and my siblings were born.

Why doesn't france have its own forums or section on citi-data when the UK does have its own section and forums on citi-data?
