Mine would be Spain
I don't get why should the population of them all be 50 million. Some of the European countries are so successful because the population size is very small.

Anyway I chose Switzerland.I heard that it could be very boring, but I'm not a person who enjoys excitements so a place with clean environment, chilly weather, gorgeous scenery, beautiful architecture, stable economy and politics sounds perfect for me.
And French is my favorite foreign language,so Lausanne or Geneva are just so ideal, even though they are crazy expensive.

France,The Netherlands,Austria, the Nordic 5 are all very ideal as well.

Well its not in eastern Europe really. Murder rate is high though, best way to avoid being murdered is don't get drunk with alcoholics/druggies/long-term unemployed people, especially around weapons.

Someones never heard of the Quality of Life Index (Where To Be Born) index for countries Where-to-be-born Index - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Start reading before you start saying that the UK has a high quality of life. It is not even in the Top 20

Oh and by the way, London is 38th in the Quality of Living index, quite poor actually.

For winters, -15c and snow would be a bonus, not a problem. You would understand if this was in your blood from childhood and all the opportunities for activities that come with it. I wouldn't swap traditional Norwegian winters with anything the rest of Europe has to offer for this season. Certainly not for rain, wind, fog and +3c.

Ok that index lost all its credibility when I saw it ranked Taiwan THAT high,a place that is always in crisis of being invaded and annexed.

And by what miracle are Italy and Chile ranked higher than France and Japan?

Me too with Swedish winters. Winters are meant to bring snow and are meant to be cold, in London, all I experienced was 3-9celcius with rain. It was terrible and dark.
At least the snow in Scandinavia lights the night and day up...

Well yeah...it doesn't take "the possibility of being invaded" into consideration, otherwise Taiwan would've been ranked right in the bottom.
But the governance here sucks, they might need to look into it more carefully. The politicians here are almost as corruptive as those in China.
