I was replying to someone who said Europe is not on Americans radar as a place to live. Untrue. And the 200K is only the UK, not all of Europe.
Its true sorry but the whole world doesn't have this obsession with Europe. its just a vocal minority.
Most people in my area dream about living in warmer states like Arizona, Florida and California.
Or you have the people who like big cities who dream about Chicago or New York.
The only people I know who live in Europe are in the military.

Nobody said it did. But why do Americans keep starting threads like this one?
I know a lot of American expats in the UK and a few in other countries in Europe, none of whom are in the military. They are here permanently, as I am.
Congratulations Botticelli your dreams have come true
Go back and see just how many dozens of thread have been started by Americans who use it as an excuse to spout 'we are better than you are....blah blah blah'.
After having lived in Europe, I have to give a resounding YES to that!
