So if a Swedish boy falls in love with an Italian girl, it's wrong because different cultures, nationalities and ethnicies? And the children have no roots because they are 50% Italian and 50% Swedish? And no soul as well?
There are many cultures, especially Southern Europe & Middle East (including many observant Catholics and Orthodox Christians) that are against mixing marriages with different ethnicities even if it's same religion.
