i heard these last two years have been the mildest in recent history. if you think about it, the weather is lousy from late november to may. so really only HALF the year

Tigerbolt, our winters of the last few years were extremely mild. Beware of a severe winter. Those can be quite cold here, like in 1997, 1985-87, 1979 or 1963.
