"Is ketchup free at restaurants?" translates to "I am traveling to Europe just to eat at McDonalds"

Lighten up, the way the original post is worded can lead one to think possibly this is the reason....sheesh

Thank you all for your responses and adds. I now will visit your McDonald's. My life depends on ketchup everyday. Ketchup is the only thing that keeps me alive.

Perhaps her/she is traveling in a budget. Two years ago I visited Italy with very little money. Although I was able to try the local cuisine -not amused by Naples pizza- most of my dinners were at Micky D's. Affordable, tasty and familiar.

Really? This surprises me since I would expect free wine with my crappy little burgers.

1. No restaurant gives anything for free. Is just manipulative strategies when some restaurant or other commercial unit claims something is for free, they instead increase the price of the main product, fries in this case etc.
2. You will have bigger expenses to be concerned about than the French fries.
3. Assuming you're serious with this thread, I'm curious what and why you want to visit in Europe.
