Ketchup freedom is the burning question of our times. Europe is divided between the free ketchup countries and the paid ketchup countries by the Ketchup Curtain. People are forever trying to move to the free ketchup countries. I hear they may have to build a wall.

In some places in Europe they give you on little package for free and then they charge for extra a few cents.

Stay home !!

Funny question:

What else do you pay with ???
Many travelers that go to Europe are often youngsters with little money who stay in cheap hostels, travel with their backpacks and mcdonalds provide an excellent choice as far as food.

Perhaps the poster is an 18 or 19 year old wanting to travel around europe for the first time in his life!
No need to judge!

Not every visitor to Europe is a middle class, middle aged professional who can afford to dine and go to the opera and and visit costly castles so they can do a wine tasting tour!

Seriously ?

Where I go, they give 4 or even sometimes 6 sachets, and if I want more, I just have to take it on a counter.

Maybe it's a tourist thing...

In Norway it is free. It should be considering the price of a burger or french fries.

McDonald's have ketchup dispensers. I like that. It is better than those small packages.

Why would you want to go to McDonald's in Europe? Or McDonald's anywhere, for that matter? Generally, when people go to Europe, they want to experience Europe, which includes the cuisine, not America.
