By having this thread we should discuss either what are the best ones or tell us about those European festivals you have been in.

Well, now I'm too old for clubbing and partying, lol, but I still have good memories from August 2009 when I enjoyed Mystery Land 2009 in The Netherlands:

So, let's this thread begin!

I more like other happenings and shows than music festivals but yeah, nothing special. They sing, we dance and watch and eat yummies, nice day among others... or rainy day, lol

BTW why too old? We have gparents in... Don't let your age to stop you doing things.

Good thread . Haven't been on a festival for a long time, but here's a few of the biggest for the Netherlands:

Lowlands Festival in Biddinghuizen. Lots of Rock, Alt, Punk etc three days of non stop music and partying for three days. There's a big campground where you can put up a tent.

Kiss Another Sky | Lowlands 2015 | A campingflight to Lowlands paradise

Pinkpop in Landgraaf, Also lots of Alt, Rock but also other kinds. Every year a few world class bands. Also a big campground.

Pinkpop 2015

Metropolis festival in the Zuider park in Rotterdam. This is where a lot of upcoming or potential big bands play. Like the Smashing Pumpkins played there just before their big break through and lots of other bands that became really big afterwards. It's a one day festival.

Metropolis Festival

Parkpop in the Zuider park in the Haque. All kinds of music, commercial and alternative, rap, rock, dance etc.
Three big stages usually. One day festival

Parkpop > Home

There's lots of other festivals starting in the spring to late fall every year.

In Spain we have a lot of music festival every summer, thoug the best ones are Aquasella in Asturias, Monegros Desert Festival in Huesca and Sónar in Barcelona:

I've heard before about pretty good festivals in Belgium and Serbia, but I've never been there to enjoy such festivals there, but to see cities as a tourist kinda person.

I have been to a few in Europe, with the best being Tomorrowland in Belgian by far.

But none top T In The Park in Scotland and Glatonbury and Creamfields in England ..... absolutely INSANE.

I think being older than 35 doesn't match to much with partying, raving or clubbing either all day long or all night long, lol.
