Hello everyone,

It looks like I will be spending a week in Paris and Luxembourg in January. I will have 1.5 days free and I am hoping to go to Germany when I am finished with my obligations in Luxembourg. I am trying to decide between Trier and Cologne. I am really into Roman history, which makes Trier attractive to me... Any tips on what to see with what little time I have?

Thanks

Just go to Trier, take your time strolling and looking at a lot of stuff.
You will need all the time you have !!

In the mean time consult Google ...

I assume you have a car ?

Trier, the Puerta Negra, Amphitheater, and Cathedral walk around the pedestrian area a bit.

Trier. Cologne is cool too but the Roman stuff is in Trier, and Trier has some very interesting stuff going on and some nice ambiance.

You should have a wonderful time!
