What I meant was that in today's global world you need cooperation between countries on all levels. Even if you are the 5th largest economy, you can't make it alone.
And it's naive to think that you can just leave smashing the door behind you and everything will still be the same, because it won't. It will affect relations for sure.
In any case, I hope the "stay" will win with a landslide and the debate would disappear forever.
