Yes I've visited the Camargue. It's a beautiful area, from the road side you sometimes see wild horses and bulls roam the swamps, but in summer time when i was there, it's nearly impossible to visit the swamps due to the mosquito's. We tried, but couldn't manage for more than an hour lol. There are still some Gardians, horsemen very much like in Spain and Portugal of which the American Cowboy originated from.
Also a lot of Flamingo's there which makes for very exotic views.
