Yes, I know, so the few ones who died by bears attacks were mainly people walking around who suddenly hit bear burrows or something like that.

However, unfortunately here in the Iberian peninsula brown bears live in very isolated, few sparsely populated areas in the northern mountains, so it is really difficult to find them by default, therefore I have never noticed about people being killed by bear attacks.

Maybe it would be different in your country as it's mostly flat with so many lakes everywhere, so maybe bears can feel free themselves to move around, which would make easy for trekking enthusiast to find them.

Pretty similar to Spain. No eagles though but smaller ones like buzzards. The most dangerous animal is probably the wild boar which I recently saw a few here in the woods.
