Since I intend to relocate to Germany some time in winter, I am thinking of using this time as a chance to make a "fresh start" in my career. I'd like to get out of the hated office and start doing something I actually enjoy doing. I am thinking something that would have to do with the outdoors, nature, possibly with animals. Or maybe something to do with outdoorsy sports/tourism, something like a national park ranger, possibly. Something that would not require a full-blown university degree in ecology/nature protection. I would be up to doing a year or two of practicum, but I am not ready to go to college all over again. Ah yes, and I do not have the money to buy a farm either.
Any suggestions of such careers, information about salary range, any ideas where I might start looking are welcome.
To get that degree you need a complete schooling in a "green" field like gardener, forester or agriculturer etc. which itself is a three year apprenticeship.
