Maybe I misjudge the height of others? I've noticed that when looking at my reflection in a full-size mirror I'd say I'm shorter than me lol. So I "see" guys as tall as me as shorter than me for some reason. Ironically this does not make me feel good (maybe I got too used to being one of the shortest guys in my classes or something). In the Netherlands there are guys far taller than me, so I feel more comfortable.
Would you prefer being in a room with everyone the same height as you? Or would you prefer being the shortest guy in the room?
Because lack of proteins - milk, meat. Hungers, etc.
But the increase in height has been tremendous among young people.
Probably the weather or being hunter-gatherers, barbarians were much taller than Romans.
I read somewhere that it was related to sleep, as people in cold countries traditionally slept more in antiquity. Some sort of human hibernation was practised.
