LOL it's been my experience that when people say "I don't mean to be rude BUT..." they do mean to be rude.
If you have been following this thread at all, you will quickly realize that I'm not "down on Germany" and have not been negative toward Germany at all. And in fact, I haven't even mentioned that Germany's rate of anti Semitism (however one measures that) is four times higher than that of the US, according to the ADL. Oops, I just said it. Sorry!
Quote the post you're actually referencing in the future and you can avoid some miscommunication. Just my advice - worth exactly what you paid for it!
My math still stands. Even if "anti Semitism sentiments" have increased by 87 percent in the US, they're still less than half that of Germany. Not to say that we shouldn't be on guard against it, and be concerned - but let's put things in perspective, shall we?
Now - I don't even like posting those facts, because I like Germany, and I like German people in general - Jewish or otherwise (though for some reason, Jewish people don't seem very prevalent in Germany). But I'll just say this - growing up in the US, the very idea of "anti Semitism" seems bizarre to me. I mean, it simply isn't a common mindset - not in my generation or my parents' generation, or my kids' generation. I remember learning about the Holocaust and other anti Semitic history and being completely shocked. What on earth? Why would anyone be anti Semitic? I'm not saying it doesn't exist in the US, but it's definitely an aberration and not a common mindset at all.
We are still mostly talking past each other. Perhaps that was my fault. My argument was with another user, in my response (which you quoted) I was talking to him and it was part of my posted message. I was arguing against silly accusation and some outright preposterous accusation. If you are bored it starts with #194.
It seemed to me like you was cherrypicking statement out of an ongoing conversion (if one can call it that) I had with this other user.
If that was not the case, my apologies if I came across a bit short with you.
One last thing, since we did drift into a discussion a bit, while I do agree that the US is very good at not having anti-semitism I wouldn't call occurrences an aberration.
Also the ADL index score for the US is 10% for Germany it is 16%. It is not like they are world apart. Especially if we would really consider US and Anti-semitism to be nothing more than an aberration.

We must be looking at different ADL stats because the ones I was looking at gave Germany a 27% and the US a 9% index score.
I didn't find an updated ADL index since 2014 so if you have newer information showing that Germany's score has dropped from 27 percent to 16 percent I'd love to see it, since that would be a very positive move in the right direction.

OK that's good to know. Thanks. No idea why that wasn't showing up for me when I went to their site.
I see that the US ticked upward from 9 percent to 10 percent. Hardly an 87 percent jump as some folks were saying but who knows where the stats come from.
I'd like to know how Germany dropped it's rating from 27 percent in 2014 to 16 percent in 2015 - that's a huge drop in a very short amount of time.
Just updating my response to an asinine thread title, "nothing".
Sure, to you Germany is just perfect with your countries crumbling infrastructure that Merkel and co. refuse to rebuild just to keep the BS up and keep draining resources from poor EU nations. And when the Germans work with Xi and the Chinese to build a nwo I'm sure you shrug. Or when they use refugees to destroy the entire cityscape of Europe or when German companies rig their products or when the steal $$$$$$ from the US to fund military zones to trade with.
Have some self reflection on Germany and look to improve it rather than arrogantly suggesting you're the best.

I am truly wondering, are you on purpose spreading lies, do you not know it better, or is this just trolling for fun?
